This 1980’s classic song by Bobby Mc Ferrin
“Don’t Worry Be Happy” inspired me to write this blog as I thought it was very appropriate for what a lot of people are going though nowadays…
Whether it’s financial, medical or romantic woes, a positive outlook and creative responsibility will pull us through.
FOCUS DETERMINES REALITY
Creative Responsibility is key for creating your reality. Our conscious minds need to be focused on something positive, anything that makes you happy like a hobby such as painting, writing or any other creative outlet that lets you express yourself, it releases tension and negative energy and attracts more positive, happy energy which a lot of us know will bring us to more happy situations.
EXERCISE HELPS, TOO…
TAI CHI and YOGA are great stress relievers, studies have shown that these are great stress-reducing activities that raise your vibrations.
MEDITATION is also a great outlet for relaxation and the more you do this, the less negative chatter you will hear in your mind and for me, the solutions for my problems appear once I calm myself down.
DO ONE THING A DAY THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
My mother Phyllis Sabella always says this, as many times when I was in a “funk” this would remind me to change my focus…
THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND IS MORE POWERFUL THAN WE THINK…
Our subconscious mind holds “files” of past and present situations that are from both this life and previous ones that can be negative in nature as they are designed to teach us again and again what we need to learn in this lifetime. If we don’t use our conscious minds to focus on a positive goal, the subconscious mind kicks in and will throw back old scenarios like financial, medical and romantic problems that keep coming to us over and over again to push us to focus on something positive.
Whatever your troubles may be, keeping a positive outlook is crucial for your recovery from them.
Like the line in “Don’t Worry Be Happy” says:
“In every life we have some trouble, but when you worry you make it double – don’t worry , be happy!”
GOOD VIBRATIONS : HANG AROUND WITH HAPPY PEOPLE
Studies have shown that keeping company with happy,
like – minded souls make you a happier person.
LIFE IS NOT A PITY PARTY…
Joel Osteen, Pastor, Author and Television /Radio Personality always talks about having a positive outlook and not to have (in his words) a “pity party”, where you get together with mutually disgruntled folks who think that the only solution to their problems is complaining about them. Joel says that yes, there are times we need to vent, we just need to let go after venting and not keep complaining constantly as it only keeps you in a bad place.

IT’S ALWAYS DARKEST BEFORE THE DAWN…
My friend Ricky Roberts III describes the vicious attack he survived- both mentally and physically in his book “You” and the steps he took to get himself to a better place.
You would think someone could stay bitter and unhappy, but Ricky took the initiative and exercised creative responsibility by turning the negatives in his life to positives.
I have the utmost respect for him as he’s making a difference every day by his selfless work in his community to reduce violence and making a difference globally in his books “You”, “Where Did The Gift Go” and “What Really Matters”…
Below is both parts one and two of my podcast “Metaphysically Speaking” interview with Ricky Roberts III, i’m sure you’ll agree that negative situations can be turned into positive ones!

Sometimes we forget that what we are going through will bring us to a much better place.
What keeps me going is that “light at the end of the tunnel”, I know i’m getting there and I know you’ll be there in no time, too! For now, stay focused and positive.
